How are the prints made?
Our prints are made to order, using high-resolution files from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collections in New York. Every artwork is printed on premium polyester canvas, stretched on a pine wood frame, with light-resistant inks designed to last decades.
What materials do you use?
We use 100% polyester canvas, stretched on a 1.9 cm pine wood frame. The finished product is a 0.75” stretched gallery-wrap canvas — ready to hang, no frame needed. Mounting hardware is included on the back.
How long do the prints last?
Our prints are designed to last decades when displayed away from direct sunlight. The inks used are certified for over 75 years of lightfastness under normal indoor lighting conditions.
Are the artworks authentic originals?
Our prints are high-quality reproductions of original works held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The artworks are in the public domain (over 100 years old) and the Met has made them freely accessible through its Open Access program. We don't sell originals — we sell museum-quality reproductions.
What sizes are available?
Every artwork is available in 3 sizes, adapted to the original painting's orientation. For portrait paintings: S 12”×16”, M 16”×20”, L 24”×36”. For landscape paintings: S 16”×12”, M 20”×16”, L 36”×24”. Size is selected directly on the product page.
How long does delivery take?
Since every print is made to order: 2–3 business days for production + 3–5 days for shipping across Europe. Total of approximately 5–8 business days from order confirmation.
Do you ship across Europe?
Yes, we ship across Europe. Prints are carefully packed in protective packaging to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the destination country.
How does the guarantee and returns work?
We offer a 30-day guarantee from receipt of your order. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us at support@gallerivm.com and we'll find the best solution together — return, replacement, or full refund. No questions asked, no hassle.
Is the print ready to hang?
Yes. Every canvas comes with mounting hardware already included on the back. No frame or extra accessories needed.
